Gin - Tiny House Trailer
The Gin Tiny House trailer keeps it simple and affordable by providing a chassis for a structural floor to be built on site.
Features
Drawbar Mounts Both Ends
The simple and lightweight drawbar can attach at both ends, providing options for maneuvering into tricky spots. It's also easy to store under the home or in another location, or even use with another trailer.
Modular Dolly
Axle, suspension, and wheels from a bolt on dolly rated at 1750Kg, available in braked or non-braked options. This flexible system lets you buy only what you need. You might just need one axle to get the trailer from Napier to the site, or you could spec four to handle some serious load. Can be remove for truck transportation.
Extendable Arms
The arms are adjustbile width from 2.7m to 3m.
Lifting & Tie Down
The extendable arms serve as lifting points when paired with optional lifting jacks and also incorporate wind and flood tie-down points.
Road Legal
Chassis under 2.55m means legal for road travel to building site. Extendable arms are bolted up on site.
Floor Frame
Building the frame on-site helps save money. We recommend using 90mm LVL timber for this process. This approach offers better thermal performance and the added benefit of laying a floor on timber rather than steel.
Lengths from 3.6m to 11.4m.
All parts are hot dip galvanised, axles pre galvanised.
Height from ground to top of chassis is 600mm.
Lights, WOF, and rego are optional. You can rent a lightboard, lights, and rego to get to the site and courier them back.
Brakes and controller are optional. Trailers can be towed to site without brakes, pays to check towing weights.
If a braked dolly is selected, it will be wired to a 7-pin plug to activate the brakes using a vehicle's hard-wired brake controller.
Supplied with two safety chains.
A cable hand brake is needed to gain WoF.
