Rental Cabin Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Period

  • Minimum rental term is 2 weeks.

  • After the minimum term, rental continues week‑to‑week until cancelled.

  • No long‑term fixed contract unless agreed in writing.

2. Payments

  • Rent is charged weekly at $150 included GST .

  • One week’s rent in advance is required before delivery.

  • A bond of $300 is required and held until the cabin is returned clean and undamaged.

  • Payments must be made by automatic payment or bank transfer.

  • Any overdue rent may incur late fees.

3. Delivery & Collection

  • A delivery fee of :

    • Local < 25km $250

    • Regional 25-50km $300

    • Extanded 50-75km $375

    • Long 75km-120+ $500

  • Over 120km will be quoted.

  • Delivery includes placement and leveling of the cabin.

  • Tight‑site delivery is possible but may incur additional charges.

  • The hirer must ensure clear access and a suitable, level site.

  • Collection fee is the same as delivery.

  • If hiab delivery is required, additional charges apply.

  • If the cabin becomes inaccessible due to site changes, extra costs may apply.

4. Use of the Cabin

  • Cabins must be kept clean, dry, and in good condition.

  • No structural or decorative changes may be made without written permission.

  • No smoking, pets, or open flames inside the cabin.

  • The cabin must not be moved by the hirer — only Wee Make Change may relocate it.

  • Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from the bond.

5. Power & Safety

  • Cabins must be connected to power using approved methods.

  • The hirer is responsible for safe use of heaters, appliances, and electrical equipment.

  • Any electrical faults or safety concerns must be reported immediately.

6. Council & Landowner Permissions

  • The hirer is responsible for obtaining any council approvals if required.

  • If the cabin is placed on land not owned by the hirer, written permission from the landowner is required.

7. Notice Period

  • After the minimum rental term, the hirer may end the rental with 2 weeks’ notice.

  • Wee Make Change may also require 2 weeks’ notice for collection scheduling.

8. Early Termination

  • If the hirer ends the rental before the minimum term, the remaining minimum‑term balance may be charged.

  • Any unpaid rent or damage costs must be settled before collection.

9. Bond Refund

  • The bond will be refunded once the cabin is collected, inspected, and confirmed to be clean and undamaged.

  • Cleaning fees or repair costs may be deducted if required.

  • Bond refunds are processed within 5 working days.

10. Liability

  • Wee Make Change is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items stored in the cabin.

  • The hirer is responsible for ensuring the cabin is secure at all times.

  • The hirer accepts responsibility for any damage caused by misuse or unsafe operation.

11. Weather & Site Conditions

  • Cabins must be placed on stable, level ground.

  • The hirer must ensure the site remains accessible for collection.

  • If the cabin cannot be safely collected due to site changes, additional charges may apply.

12. General

  • Wee Make Change may update these terms at any time.

  • Continued rental after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

  • All rentals are subject to availability and approval.
